2025 Texas Sand School Recap

On April 22, Eagle Iron Works hosted its 4th annual Sand School in Texas alongside its dealer, Excel Machinery. Previously held in the Dallas Fort Worth area, this was the first time the Sand School was hosted in San Antonio.

There were 30 customers and dealers in attendance for this one-day training filled with equipment and maintenance presentations. The morning consisted of educational sessions on screening, coarse material washing, fine material washing, dewatering and maintenance tips. Presenters focused on highlighting key features, benefits and operational tips on the Eagle Dewatering Screen, Classifying Tanks, Falcon Sand Plant, Hawk Fines Recovery Plant, Pumps and Cyclones. The second half of the day consisted of high-level presentations covering tailings management and water recycling equipment including Thickeners and Filter Presses.

After the conclusion of the school, attendees were presented with a Sand School completion certificate and gift. The group then attended a dinner reception at the Iron Cactus along the San Antonio Riverwalk.
